The Magicians: Watch Jewel Staite and Rick Worthy appear in another episode
While not main characters, Rick Worthy and Jewel Staite are important for The Magicians Season 4 storyline. Watch tonight’s all-new episode to see how they’re needed for the resident characters.
The Magicians Season 4, Episode 9 will see two Supernatural guest stars tonight. It’s not Felicia Day, but these two guest stars are extremely important for the upcoming episodes of the series. Rick Worthy and Jewel Staite are the two you want to look out for.
Titled “The Serpent,” this is an episode that will certainly push storylines forward. The two guest stars don’t get major roles — Worthy’s is bigger than Staite’s — but that doesn’t mean they’re not important.

As Dean Fogg, Worthy’s role is one of nurturing and information. He’s already helped Alice and Zelda with a spell and now it’s time for him to offer more support and help. Throughout the four seasons, Worthy’s role in The Magicians’ lives has certainly grown. He started as the dean of the school and is now someone to help figure out problems and keep our lead characters protected.

Meanwhile, Staite gets the chance to spread acting chops. She’s one of the members of the Library’s council. While some believe they’re doing the right thing, others are oppressive. You’ll want to check out the episode to see which side Statie’s Phyllis is on.
Over the last few weeks, some of the side storylines have started to become major plots. One of the biggest things The Magicians has taught us recently is that those side storylines aren’t as minor as you would initially think. The “side characters” can be some of the most interesting if you give them a chance, and that’s something we can certainly use when it comes to Supernatural.
