4. Teddy and Owen are probably not done for good.

In the exhausting romance that never ends, Teddy and Owen are probably not done for good. Megan Hunt returns this week to basically tell the audience that.

Her sole purpose in the episode is to pressure them both to give their relationship another chance after being profoundly disappointed at the fact they’re still not together, even with Teddy getting pregnant. This is bad news for Tom, who clearly wants he and Teddy to take the next step in their relationship and move in together.

3. Andrew might make a great general surgeon.

Andrew and Richard share the screen in an entertaining subplot this week. Webber assigns Andrew an appendectomy and DeLuca gets the wrong idea that Richard is testing him to see if he’s right for Meredith.

In reality, Richard is more concerned with his surgical career. It’s made more awkward by the fact they haven’t really talked to since Richard walked in on Andrew and Meredith making out at Catherine’s party a few weeks back.

Andrew actually does manage to impress Richard in the OR. He gets a little snippy, but direct, and finishes the surgery the way he intended to by taking the reigns – Richard did give him the surgery after all.

We learn Andrew has aspirations of moving into general in the future and Richard eventually puts in a good word for him with Meredith. It’s a sweet moment because obviously, Meredith is a grown woman who doesn’t need Richard’s approval in her romantic life, yet it’s a nice gesture and you can tell she’s pleased Richard thinks Andrew is a good man all the same.
