The Society: Take a first look at Kathryn Newton’s newest project
Kathryn Newton may be Claire Novak to Supernatural fans, but she has a new project coming up. The first teaser for Netflix’s The Society is out now.
If you love seeing what Supernatural alums are up to, you’ll want to pay attention to Netflix next month. Kathryn Newton is in the Original, The Society, and her character Allie may want to take some tips for Claire Novak, Jody Mills, and the Winchester brothers.
For those who haven’t heard, Newton will play Allie in The Society, a Lord of the Flies-like series that sees a group of teenagers in a world without adults. What initially seems like something fun turns into a nightmare. After all, you know how mean teenagers can be.

What’s going on? Well, somehow the teenagers are taken from their own reality and thrown in one where it’s only them. They need to figure out how to remain alive while also working out what’s happened to them. Can they make it back to their own world or will their parents realize what’s happened to them?
Allie may definitely want to learn some of the skills the Winchesters taught Claire. This is going to be a dog-eat-dog world. There will be plenty of fights, danger, twists, and complications. As great as life without adults may originally seem, this will quickly turn into a nightmare.
Monsters aren’t always creatures and supernatural beings. Sometimes, they’re human — and I get the feeling we’re going to see a lot of that.
There isn’t long to wait to see how it all plays out in the 10-episode series. As much as we’d love to see Newton in Wayward Sisters, it’s good to see that she is landing new projects. This is an actress with a bright future.
