Surely there is a Khaleesi joke here somewhere right? Jorah Mormont being cast as Bruce Wayne in Titans Season 2 is too good an opportunity to miss.

Jorah Mormont has been the but of all jokes among Game of Thrones fans. His endless pining for Khaleesi has seen him turned into more than one viral meme. So surely there has to be something here not that he has been cast as Bruce Wayne in Titans Season 2.

“Robin! Please!” “I am Ser Bruce Wayne, of House Friendzone, Sworn Knight of something….” I don’t know, there is certainly something there.

More from HBO

Anyway, the news broke via Deadline that Iain Glen, who has played Jorah Mormont in every season of the HBO series, will take on the role of the iconic billionaire by day, bat by night, DC character. Glen is also well known for his roles in the Downton Abbey and Resident Evil franchises.

It is not clear if Glen will appear as Batman in Titans Season 2. Deadline has reported that he will definitely play a much older Bruce Wayne than what we have seen before, but no details on if he will put on the suit or not.

A character description has been released by the producer’s ofTitans and they have said it will be a stark contrast to what we know. Check out the description for yourself just below.

"“After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.”"

There is still no official Titans Season 2 release date. Production was expected to start in February this year. It is expected to premiere on the DC Universe Streaming Service later this year.
