It’s the penultimate episode of Supernatural Season 14 next week. What can we expect based on the Supernatural Season 14, Episode 19 promo and synopsis?

Supernatural Season 14 airs its penultimate episode next week and you know that means plenty of drama and lots of questions at the end. Before you get ready to watch, what can we expect from the episode? It’s time for a breakdown of the Supernatural Season 14, Episode 19 promo and synopsis.

If you haven’t caught this week’s episode yet, you’ll want to watch before delving into the promo and synopsis. There will be spoilers from this week.

Here are the promo and synopsis before we break them down. You’ll need them to get an idea of what we’re talking about.

"A PILLAR OF SALT– Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) investigate a string of suspicious deaths that have a biblical element to them. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner."

Are you ready to break it all down? This is going to be intense.

5. Apocalypse World Bobby is back and looking for vengeance

More from Supernatural

If you thought the Winchester brothers were the only ones hurting, you’d be mistaken. And no, I’m not just talking about Castiel. Apocalypse World Bobby is back in the picture this week and he wants to get revenge for Mary’s death.

This isn’t all that surprising. Bobby was in love with his Mary Campbell. Now he’ll want to get revenge for the woman he was falling for from this world. That means going up against Jack, who he only trusted initially because of Mary.

Bobby will likely go rogue. Sam and Dean will need to find a way to reign him in.

4. Castiel will turn to Duma for help

I’m not sure we can trust Dume right now. However, it’s clear that he needs help from Heaven and she’s the one who has been responding to so far. What’s not clear is whether the scenes in the promo are more flashbacks to what Castiel saw and did while in Heaven in Episode 18 or he goes back to Heaven for help.

One thing is for certain; Castiel and Dean’s bond is fragile right now. While Dean doesn’t completely blame Castiel anymore, Dean is angry and sad and just wants someone to blame. It’s easier to blame the one who was keeping a secret, similarly to the way he blamed Sam for Charlie’s death back in Supernatural Season 10.

Castiel will want to make things right. He can’t get Mary back but he can help by saving Jack.

3. Duma is working with Jack

While Castiel turns to Duma, she has other plans. There was a reason I didn’t trust her in the last episode.

Duma will turn to Jack to lead him down a path that could be dark and dangerous. After all, we know that angels don’t always like humans and some of them wanted Michael’s plan. So, would it be all that surprising if Duma decided to use Jack to “purify” the Earth?

Jack certainly won’t like being manipulated but he’s broken and lost right now. He’s told himself (through his Lucifer hallucinations) that he can’t trust the Winchesters. But can he trust Duma?

2. There will be Biblical-like deaths

Sam, Dean, and Castiel will need to investigate a string of deaths with Biblical elements to them. That suggests that angels will have something to do it the problem. This could be linked to Jack being manipulated by Duma.

Is it possible that Jack will start killing humans who don’t follow his word and orders? What if angels are the ones being killed? Could all this link to Heaven failing? I get the feeling that the Winchesters and Castiel will find out that Jack is connected to the deaths in some way.

1. There’s a choice to be made

Dean makes a point that they need to stop Jack. I will point out now that he literally says “stop Jack” not “kill.” So, this could be a good thing — maybe Dean doesn’t want to kill Jack right now and wants to help him as much as possible. After all, Jack isn’t the first person in the show to be manipulated and in need of saving.

The problem is Jack is mighty powerful. Stopping him won’t be easy. And Dean knows that killing may be the only option.

Before he even considers going out, it’s clear there’s some growth over the years. Supernatural Season 14, Episode 19’s trailer sees Dean turn to Sam to make sure they’re both on board with this plan. It sounds like Dean won’t go through with it if they’re not together on this one, which makes a change.
