Barry continues to revisit his past, NoHo Hank devises a new plan, and Fuches is back on the move. Here is a preview for episode 3 of HBO’s Barry.

Is Barry evil? That is the question that both Barry and the audience are contemplating. Does trying to leave a life of violence make up for all of the murders Barry committed as a hitman? Death is not Barry’s worst enemy right now.; It’s guilt. As Barry attempts to pull off another hit, he seized up because of his guilt and it may cost him in the long run. If you missed last week’s episode of HBO’s Barry, here is a brief recap of episode 2.

The time has come for Barry to murder Esther for NoHo Hank. Barry is able to successfully infiltrate the monastery where she is hiding and finds Esther in her room, defenseless from a kill shot. As Barry points his gun, the grief he feels from his first kill, which was surprisingly celebrated, impedes Barry’s psyche, which causes him to lower his weapon. However, Barry accidentally stumbles into a room full of monks and blows his cover. Barry runs out of the building and attempts to drive away, but is shot down, which causes him to crash the car and run away.

In the acting class, Gene Cousineau sets the next assignment for the class, which is to revisit a personal moment that shaped their life and act it out in front of the class. Pressed by Gene, Sally shockingly reveals that she was previously married to an abusive husband and ended up leaving him to move to LA.

Barry, who never wants to mentally revisit his time in the war again, convinces Gene to let him present the first meeting they had together. However, after a failed reconciliation with his son, Gene changes his mind and demands Barry to tell his Afghanistan story again.

Finally, Fuches is on the move again, but this time, he has a new partner. After Fuches is released from the authorities in Cleveland, he is greeted by Detective Loach, who reveals that Fuches’s tooth was found in Goran’s garage. Loach threatens Fuches and promises to put him in jail if he finds a connection between him and Barry. A nervous Fuches visits Barry and asks him to confess the killing of Detective Moss.

Barry refuses and angrily walks off. However, it is revealed that Fuches is working with Detective Loach in order to avoid jail time and will continue to try to force Barry’s confession.

With Fuches back in the equation, it’s another commodity that Barry has to worry about. Hank still wants Barry to kill Esther. Will he be able to pull the trigger this time? Check out the official synopsis from episode 3 below.

"As part of a class project, Gene tasks Barry with revisiting his past, and Sally reflects on her own history. Barry offers to provide training to NoHo Hank’s men. Fuches finds Barry in an unexpected location."
