The Winchesters are grieving and that’s certainly the case in the Supernatural Season 14, Episode 19 sneak peek.

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 18 delivered a heartbreaking episode for the Winchester brothers, Castiel, and fans alike. Now it’s time to move on. But can any of us really do that? The Supernatural Season 14, Episode 19 sneak peek certainly doesn’t look like it.

The clips from The CW tend to be at the very beginning of the episodes. They don’t give too much away for the main focus on the episode in question and are more just about the connection between characters. In this case, we get a look at how the Winchester brothers are dealing with the loss of their mom.

Sammy points out that they know what’s on the other side. Part of the fear of losing people is not really knowing where they are on the other side. Sure, we can believe in something and we can have faith but that’s all the two are. We don’t know for certain what happens when we die.

But the Winchesters do. They know angels exist and they know God is real. Okay, Dean has some excellent comments about God and angels, but that doesn’t take away the fact that Heaven is real and it’s good. Dean’s comments don’t overlook the fact that Mary is in a good place, happy with John Winchester after all this time.

So, why are they grieving so much? Why do they miss her and want her back? That’s something the sneak peek tells us and you can check it out below.

What the clip doesn’t show is the bulk of the episode. We don’t get to know what the case of the week is and what’s going on with Jack. Nor do we get to find out how Apocalypse World Bobby is going to initially react to the news – he clearly wants Jack to pay for everything that’s happened.

This is just an important moment between two brothers, something I’ve felt missing for a lot of this season. Seeing the two not blame each other for what happened to Mary is refreshing and there’s a strength between them that will help with the next stages of grief.
