Hey #Momaholics! This week on Mom, Tammy and Bonnie visit their old foster home while Christy and Jill’s night takes a few unexpected turns.

Over a meal at the bistro, Tammy discusses her nervousness concerning visiting her and Bonnie’s foster parents. Needing to make amends as a part of her addiction recovery, Tammy insists Bonnie join her, as a way of taking a trip down memory lane. Bonnie reluctantly agrees.

At their once foster home, Bonnie and Tammy are surprised to find they still live there. The foster mother, Claire, is so excited to see them again and quickly invites them in. They all share stories about years past and Claire sadly lets them know her husband Frank has since died. Tammy and Bonnie apologize for all that they did when they were kids but end up fighting just like old times.

Meanwhile, Marjorie and Wendy have plans after the evening meeting so Christy and Jill decide to hit the bistro by themselves. While they are packing up, the two are asked out for coffee at a nearby diner. On the way there, Jill tells Christy that she isn’t sure she actually wants to meet up with these guys, but her mood shifts once they talk it over.

Spending the evening hanging out their old room, Bonnie and Tammy are shocked to find it hasn’t changed one bit. Bonnie, jealous of the extra attention Claire gives Tammy, confronts her old foster-mother alone in the kitchen to ask why she can’t seem to get her approval? Claire tells Bonnie that she doesn’t meant to hurt her feelings but will always feel sorry for Tammy due to the situation that put her in foster care. When pressed about what happened, Claire tells Bonnie that Tammy’s father killed her mother.

Waiting for the guys from AA to get to the diner, Christy and Jill comfort each other over onion rings. The two talk about how lonely they are and revel in the disappoint they are experiencing for getting stood up. But as soon as they head out the guys arrive with a story about how one of their car’s wouldn’t start.

Going home, Tammy tells Bonnie how happy she is to have had the chance to reconnect with Claire. Bonnie, trying to be sensitive with her, lets Tammy know that she will always be there for her, if she ever wants to talk. Tammy turns down the offer, but says that she remembers how pretty her real mother was.

After only a little while Jill fakes a migraine so Christy and her can get out of this awkward double date. But on their way to a movie, Christy and Jill get pulled over for speeding by the latter’s ex-boyfriend, Andy. Hoping to get out of the ticket, Christy slinks out of the car to get a little fresh air as she fakes a migraine herself. Jill and Andy immediately begin hitting it off as they catch up, and soon enough things start getting steamy as they decide to give hings another shot.

The next morning, Bonnie finds one of the guys Christy met at the diner sneaking out the front door with his shoes in his hands. When asked about it, all Christy says is they can’t go to the Tuesday meeting anymore.
