Just hand Avengers: Endgame all of the box office movie records now
By Sandy C.
Avengers: Endgame has been in theaters two weekends now and have broken more records than anyone saw coming. Hey, Avatar, on your left!
The second weekend a Marvel movie is out is usually when fans go watch the movie again. After all, who is truly too busy for the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a week? Not to mention, Avengers: Endgame is definitely the movie you want to watch twice and drag all your friends with you, too. If you need any proof of this, just take a look at Endgame‘s numbers.
Predictably, Avengers: Endgame is once again the champion at the box office, and it will be for a couple of more weekends. What experts didn’t see coming, though, is that it only took 11 days for the movie to reach (and pass) $2 billion.
To help paint the picture of how incredibly well Endgame is doing in theaters: Infinity War gathered just over $2 billion throughout its ENTIRE stay in theaters. Avengers: Endgame, however, has an estimated worldwide total now of just under $2.2 billion…in 11 days. This makes Endgame the second highest grossing film of all-time, beating Titanic and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
