Is it possible to watch Supernatural Season 14 on the CW app right now?

The CW app is an excellent way to keep up to date with Supernatural during the season. Can you watch the whole of Season 14 on the app?

When Supernatural (and any CW series) is airing, one of the best ways to remain caught up is through the CW app. It’s a free app for those in the U.S. and will offer the latest episodes to stream in full. So, can you use it to catch up on Season 14 right now?

There’s some bad news. While you can watch some episodes, you can’t watch all of them. Due to licensing and streaming requirements, only the most recent five episodes of any series are available to stream. Right now, only the last five episodes of the season are available through the free app.

The only way to stream Supernatural Season 14 in full right now is through Netflix or if you purchase the digital copies, which you can do through Amazon, YouTube, and iTunes. There are no plans to change the options to get it online at this current time, but there may be plans in the future.

Netflix currently has an exclusivity deal with The CW. All shows head to the service eight days after the season finale has aired. However, this could change when the deal comes to an end this spring/early summer. With Warner Bros. bringing its own streaming service, we could see SPN, along with a few other CW shows, head to that streaming service exclusively instead.
