Supernatural’s final season is keeping its Thursday night timeslot in fall 2019. Here’s everything we know from the CW Upfront schedule.

The CW has released its fall 2019 schedule. There’s great news for Supernatural’s final season, as it keeps its successful Thursday night timeslot.

While there’s still no premiere date, just knowing that it will be on Thursdays at 8/7c is a relief. And it makes sense keeping the longest-running CW series in this slot. Not only is it the oldest series on the network but it’s also the second best series on the entire network. It sits just behind The Flash and ahead of Riverdale and Arrow in the live ratings.

According to TVLine, the series will be paired with Legacies again. This isn’t all that surprising considering it seemed to be a good call for the last season. While it’s sad that we still don’t have a spin-off for the series (and that will now likely never happen) at least there’s something of the same genre following the show in the later timeslot.

There is still possibly more news coming later today. Right now, the initial presentation will be taking place and there will be a full CW Upfront presentation in the afternoon, where information about the new shows will be shared. We likely won’t get a premiere date for any of the shows just yet, but I still expect that to be around Oct. 10, 2019.

Here’s the full CW fall 2019 schedule. The capitals mark the new shows on the network.
