Supernatural Season 6, Episode 7 gave us the answer to Sam’s problem and showed us why Samuel was up to what he was. Here are my five favorite lines.

In Supernatural Season 6, Episode 7, Castiel showed up with some answers about Sam. Meanwhile, we found out what Samuel was up to and why. All these storylines brought some excellent lines. Here’s a look at my five favorite lines from “Family Matters.”

One more time, like I’m 5. What do you mean, he’s got no—

One thing that I love about Dean is that he’s not ashamed to need some things dumbed down. However, he only asks that of people he trusts and knows. In this moment, he’s making it clear that he knows Castiel won’t make him feel stupid for not understanding the whole she-bang or needing things explained a little slower while it all sinks in.

Of course. Your problems always come first. I’ll be in touch.

I did feel for Castiel in Supernatural Season 6. He had this big civil war in Heaven and the Winchesters weren’t paying attention to it. Granted, they had their own Soulless Sam problem but not once did they check on how Castiel was doing.

It takes me back to when Bobby called them selfish. This is another one of those moments that proves they could be really selfish people only focusing on their problem. This was before we knew all angels were pretty much selfish “assbutts” so maybe I look at this a little differently to the way I would if the civil war happened now.

We all have our mothers. Even me.

The Alpha Vamp had some excellent lines throughout Supernatural Season 6, Episode 7. I love that Rick Worthy took on the role and made him this formidable, confident being. He wasn’t too cocky but did know his place at the top of the food chain.

However, he also hints at something much bigger to come. If you ignored the fact that he mentioned he has a mother, then you would have missed all the hints of Eve.

The boy with no soul. I’ve got big plans for you. It’s amazing how that pesky, little soul gets in the way. But not for you. You will be the perfect… animal.

The next line has to go to the Alpha Vamp again. He makes a point before that monsters have no soul but they turn people with souls. I would be interested to see what it’s like for monsters who were created from soulless beings in the first place. It also shows the danger that Sam is in and the world is in with Sam remaining soulless.

Was a punk-ass crossroads demon. Now? King of hell. Believe me, I’ve got the mojo. I snap my fingers, Sam gets his soul back.

Crowley takes the last line. He makes a mark at this point that he’s taken over the mess in Hell. Without Lucifer around, he’s taken advantage of the empty seat, doing something that Heaven was trying to fight over.

However, he also makes a point that he can help the Winchesters. They just have to do something for him first.
