More from Supernatural

When Season 15 starts, the Winchester brothers will find themselves in a very interesting position. We last saw them in a graveyard with the ghosts from hell they put there being released by Chuck.

Sam and Dean learned Chuck had been playing them this whole time, sitting back and enjoying “the show” the Winchesters put on. But one thing Chuck didn’t count on was Team Free Will fighting back.

The final season pits Sam, Dean, Castiel, and Jack against Chuck. It seems fitting that’s who they will face in the final season, but the question remains just how will it end.

I’d like to think the brothers will come out of their tangle with Chuck on the better end. However, it’s Chuck they’re facing — you know, God — and it doesn’t seem as though the brothers were ever going to get a happy ending.

They’ve died, come back and died again. They have been tasked with saving the world so many times, I’ve actually lost count. They have also suffered heartache and despair, but through it all they have always had each other. That’s how Supernatural needs to end.

No matter how the writers decide how the Winchesters’ story will end, it needs to be together. I don’t care of it’s Thelma and Louise style, holding hands going off a cliff, or continuing to hunt the things that go bump in the night.

It just needs to be together. We’ll find it all out starting Oct. 10 when Supernatural final season premieres on The CW.
