What were the funniest and most outrageous moments from the fourth episode of Archer: 1999?

Last time on Archer, the crew of the Seamus got addicted to some eggs laid by Pam’s sandwich (don’t ask) that caused them to act out their deepest desires. Cyril became assertive, Pam became the leader, Archer and Lana boned, and Cheryl’s appetite for chaos grew so large that she destroyed all the eggs to watch her fellow mates squirm. What happened next?

Swallowed

In the opening sequence of the episode, the gang is attacking a space snail, which looks like a hybrid of a giant squid and a regular snail. There’s a hilarious line of dialogue where Pam advises her fellow crew members to shoot the space snail in the dick. When Ray points out that the beast actually has reproductive organs of both sexes, Archer doesn’t miss the chance to turn it around for a joke at Cyril’s expense.

Unfortunately for our crew, they are eventually knocked into a spin that sends them right into the beast’s gaping mouth. Cheryl, who has spent the battle on the smaller craft, gasps at seeing the ship – where she left her purse! – disappear. Oh yeah, and I guess the rest of the crew too.

Cheryl then spends a good portion of the episode debating whether to go rescue her purse. Unfortunately, she realizes if she does save the crew they’ll keep making her do space fighter missions which are “so boring because I’m so good at it.”

The power outage

During the initial assault, part of the reason the Seamus gets knocked off course is a sudden loss of power. As a result, once they end up inside the beast’s belly Archer appoints Krieger to find the source of the outage and fix it. But, of course, it was Krieger all along causing the issue with one of his insane experiments (I’m honestly confused as to why that wasn’t their first instinct).

He reveals a severed head that looks just like him (another android slash whatever he is) that groans for “more power.” Unfortunately, once Krieger indulges the head with more power, the creature’s circuitry overloads, explodes, and the head is left screaming that Krieger murdered him until the real doctor bludgeons it to death with a hammer. Krieger then nonchalantly unplugs the head, plugs it back into where it was supposed to go and tells the crew he figured out the power situation.
