Acorn TV is bringing plenty more international content straight to your device. Here are five shows to check out in July 2019, and everything arriving.

Whether you’re looking for something to replace The Great British Bake-Off right now or you want a good old-school crime drama, Acorn TV is the place for you. There’s something for all and July 2019 is no exception.

It can be overwhelming to find something to watch on the various streaming platforms right now. To help avoid that stress, I’m looking at the top five releases from Acorn TV in July 2019. I try to make sure there’s a mixture for all and this month sees the release of a new season of an exciting Acorn Original.

I’ll be upfront and say that Penelope Keith’s Village of the Year isn’t making the list but that’s because it makes the list in June 2019. There are 12 episodes added over the course of two weeks on the service, though, so they’re worth the honorary mention.

5. The Simple Heist Season 2

While the majority of content added to Acorn TV is in English, there are some non-English additions. The Simple Heist is one of them and definitely worth the watch. Season 2 makes its U.S. debut, bringing Jenny and Cecilia back together after their successful bank heist from the first season.

The two now want to tackle another heist. This time, it’s all about the art as they want to tackle the rich men who constantly evade tax. With six episodes, this will be your perfect binge to start the month.
