Grand Hotel Season 1, Episode 2 preview: Danny’s cover is blown

ABC’s soapiest new drama returns tonight with its second episode. Gigi, the current duplicitous matriarch of Grand Hotel, is forced to step in when a performance at the hotel spirals out of control.
In the pilot episode, we saw Alicia hire El Rey to perform regularly at the Riveria Grand in hopes the self-titled “King of Miami” would be able to drum up business. Given the synopsis for episode two, El Rey will do just that, at least until his rap concert takes a turn for the worse.

There are no hints as to what will happen exactly. If I had to guess I would say a fight breaks out? A fire is started? The possibilities are endless. Perhaps someone plans to use El Rey’s concert as a diversion tactic for nefarious reasons.
Aside from musical chaos, Sky will return, based on this new photo released by ABC. Grand Hotel will likely show what happened to Sky through the usage of flashbacks.
Apart from Sky’s eventual disappearance, perhaps one of the biggest twists from the pilot was the reveal lovable new waiter Danny is, in fact, her brother. He infiltrated the hotel with the hope of finding out what happened to his lost sister.
The episode synopsis teases someone on the staff blowing Danny’s cover. Will Danny have to get blood on his hands to keep hidden? Could he wind up being blackmailed? Find out tonight at 10:00 PM EST.
For some reason, ABC has decided not to release an official trailer for episode two, instead, they’ve opted for a season-long teaser showing what’s ahead. If you want to check it out for yourself it’s posted here:
