Have you caught up on season 2 of Captain Underpants? George and Harold are back in season 3 of the Epic Tale of Captain Underpants and ready for more wacky adventures with their teacher turned brief-wearing superhero!
After a quick turnaround, season 3 of The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants is now streaming on Netflix. Season 2 premiered in February of this year, so fans of the Dreamworks series should be stoked to be receiving a whole new season of the show so quickly.
If you haven’t caught up on the first two seasons, don’t be alarmed as each season only has 13 episodes, each about 20 minutes long, full of crazy hijinks featuring George Beard, Harold Hutchins, and their teacher Mr. Krupp as Captain Underpants. It’s not a scary undertaking at all and can be easily be caught up before watching the new season
While marketed as a kids show, Captain Underpants should appeal to all ages, especially those who grew up with the popular comic book series written by Dav Pilkey. For those who also loved the recent movie from 2017 Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, the television show is filled with much of the same style humor, though with a different voice cast and a 2D animated style.

The new season will take place at a summer camp with best friends George and Harold being forced to separate from one another during camp. This separation appears to be futile as the Captain Underpants adventures seem destined to resume during the season at some point.
The new season is sure to be a lot of fun and could be great summer watching with the kids, family, or anyone else who has a love for the original series.
