Supernatural took to Hall H for the very last time at SDCC 2019. The emotional panel was a support group for all those sad about the show ending, especially with Baby’s tribute.

If you’re sad about Supernatural ending, you are certainly not alone. As much as we all understand that it’s time for Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to step away from Vancouver and spend time with their young families, it’s hard to say goodbye. That was evident for absolutely everyone during the final appearance in Hall H at SDCC 2019.

Ackles, Padalecki, Misha Collins, absolutely everyone on the stage was in tears at various points. This is a show that means the world to each of them for various reasons — and the fans have made it extra special. But there’s one character that just couldn’t take to the stage but that doesn’t mean she was forgotten.

More from Supernatural

Through all the tears, Supernatural offered a tribute to a fan-favorite character. Yes, a character — she is not a prop! You all know who I’m talking about, right?

It’s Baby! The trusty Impala has been a part of the series from the very first episode. She’s been there through thick and thin, offering the Winchesters a home when they didn’t have a roof over their heads. When everyone else has turned their backs, been killed by monsters, or just not been able to get to them, Baby has been there for one or both of the boys.

In Season 10, there was an episode dedicated to Baby, an episode told from Baby’s POV. Now, the show offered a tribute to the character, and it was certainly fitting. Starting from the pilot episode, it took us through the highs and lows for the Impala.

More importantly, this tribute had one voice over we needed — Bobby’s. Who better than Jim Beaver to tell the story. Out of all the recurring characters, he’s the one that has stolen our hearts from the very first season.

You can see the tribute below. I just recommend you grab your tissues first!
