Supernatural Season 6, Episode 14 recap: Dean realizes Lisa has moved on

Lisa has moved on in Supernatural Season 6, Episode 14. Meanwhile, Sam has to deal with a vengeful spirit and memories of the cage.

In Supernatural Season 6, Episode 14, there’s a mysterious case involving mannequins. However, Dean can’t stick around when a phone call from Ben takes him back to the Braedens. Here’s a look at everything that happened throughout the episode.

Titled “Mannequin 3: The Reckoning,” the Winchesters were sent on a case where a junior college janitor was found dead after being locked in the lab. The case is one of a distraction after Dean finds Sam suffering from a flashback of his time in the cage. Dean needs to find a way to prevent Sam from remembering anything else.

While on the case, the Winchesters find out about other similar incidents. A night watchman dies at the apparel factory in a nearby town, and when visiting, it’s clearly something to do with a mannequin. That’s when the EMF reader kicks off. The same thing happened near the anatomy dummy in the college lab.

The ghosts must be possessing these dummies and mannequins to kill. So, who is the spirit? After some research, the Winchesters learn that a woman called Rose Brown went missing a year ago.

Ben needs help

During the case, Dean gets a call from Ben Braeden. Lisa needs help, after locking herself in her room. Dean decides to head off to help the Braedens while Sam looks for Rose’s sister, Isabel.

When Dean gets there, Lisa is dressed and ready for a date. It’s clear that Ben made up a story to get Dean back. Despite how they feel about each other, they both know that their relationship can’t work. Dean is also sure that he’s a bad influence on Ben, possibly leading to Ben delving into the life of a hunter.

Ben is upset that Dean is “abandoning his family.” Dean can’t answer to that but does drive away remembering the good times they shared. Dean needs to help Sammy, though.

Accidents lead to vengeful spirits

Sam is, meanwhile, working on the case. It turns out that Rose was a naïve woman, always falling for pranks. It isn’t a surprise when it turns out the janitor used to work at the clothing factory. So, Sam heads back there to meet with the employees and comes across one who is nervous.

That one employee is attacked that night but Sam is there to save him. Finally, we learn that Rose had been accidentally killed in a prank gone wrong. Now Rose is back for revenge. The group of men hid Rose’s body, which means Sam can salt and burn the remains.

If only it was as simple as that. When the guy is killed, Sam learns that one of Isabel’s kidneys was originally Rose’s. That means Rose is using her sister to remain alive. It’s not like Sam and Dean can just kill Isabel to stop Rose, so Sam suggests hoodoo, for now, to protect everyone from the vengeful spirit.

However, Rose has other plans. She possesses Baby and tries to run Dean over. Instead, Isabel is accidentally killed, which then makes Rose’s spirit disappear (albeit with an apology).

Dean is naturally disappointed with the way the case turned out. It’s not all bad, but this case wasn’t a victory. However, the brothers must go on, and they at least have each other’s backs.
