Which movie did you watch over the weekend? The Lion King continues to rule as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood settles for No. 2. Let’s have a look at the top 10 movies at the box office.

The numbers are in thanks to Box Office Mojo! Which movies made it to the top 10? Beginning with the king of the weekend, The Lion King steps in to collect $75.5 million to its growing sum. The movie now has a worldwide total of $962.6 million. Though the budget isn’t known, The Lion King is well on its way to collect a billion dollar paycheck and cashing out with a decent profit.

Settling for No. 2, we find Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood with $40.3 million, making this Tarantino’s biggest opening yet. The movie, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning and more, is a star-studded piece with a price tag of $90 million. It is being praised by both critics and fans.

I am especially cheering for Once Upon a Time to continue winning audiences over. Let’s take a break from sequels, reboots, and remakes and watch something original. Not to mention, it’s a brilliant film.
