When does Mom return on CBS for Season 7?

Mom is returning to CBS this fall for the hit comedy’s seventh season. When can we except to see new episode and what time will the sitcom air?

Caution: There are spoilers for the Mom Season 6 finale if you’re not all caught up!

We last saw Mom last May for the Season 6 finale. In the episode, Bonnie and Adam finally tied the knot, at the latter’s extremely successful bar. Now that we’ve reached that milestone, what can we expect from Mom next? And when is it returning to CBS with new episodes?

According to CBS’ fall schedule, Thursday, Sept. 26 is the date all #Momaholics need to mark in their calendars. The Season 7 premiere is titled “Audrey Hepburn and a Jalapeno Popper” and will be the series’ 133rd episode. The Futon Critic writes the premiere was directed by sitcom-vet James Widdoes, who has directed a significant number of Mom episodes.

In the episode synopsis, we learn the newlyweds have gone on vacation and left Christy in charge of the bar, for better or worse. It couldn’t have been an easy decision for Adam to make, but Bonnie probably didn’t give him much of a choice. Not much is known about what we’ll see this season, but star Alison Janney reveals we can expect to see one familiar, and adorable, face.
