Bob’s Burgers Season 10: Everything we know so far
Season 10 of Bob’s Burgers is almost here. Whether you’re new to the show or a lover of the Belchers, here’s everything you need to know about season 10.
After months of waiting, season 10 of Bob’s Burgers is finally almost here. In just two weeks, the show will be airing at its new time slot during Fox’s Animation Domination lineup. Last season, the series had a lot of milestones including airing its 150th episode, lots of musical moments and even some familiar faces returned. However, the core themes of family and fun were still as prevalent as ever.
This season looks to be more of the same which isn’t always a bad thing. The formula for Bob’s Burgers is pretty simple, but it keeps working so why fix something that’s not broken? That doesn’t mean that the show isn’t going to take risks, though. Loren Bouchard and his team have never shied away from a challenge and they’re not going to now.
Let’s get into what we know so far about season 10.

1. When does season 10 of Bob’s Burgers premiere?
Let’s get into the first major piece of business and it’s that Bob’s Burgers is moving time slots once again. Rather than stay at the 8:30 time slot from 2018, the show is moving to the 9:00 slot. It’s the first time the show has made this change. For those are curious as to why, Fox is premiering a new animated series Bless The Harts which took over the 8:30 spot, bumping both Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers back a half-hour.

As for the show’s premiere, season 10 of Bob’s Burgers is set to premiere on September 29th at its new time slot, 9:00 p.m. While it’s nothing major, it could give the show a slight uptick in rating as most NFL fans are done watching for the day.
2. Who will be guest-starring this season?
Every year, Bob’s Burgers has some great guest-stars. Previous guest-stars have included John Oliver, Andy Samberg, Jon Hamm, Carly Simon and Adam Driver. Clearly, the show has had their fair share of great guest stars and season 10 looks to be no different. According to the AV Club, some of the guest stars for season 10 are Max Greenfield, Jim Gaffigan, Kathryn Hahn and Damon Wayans Jr among others. Some of those names have been featured before, guaranteeing some of our favorite minor characters will no doubt be making an appearance.
3. Will there be more holiday episodes?
Holiday episodes are a staple of Bob’s Burgers and thankfully, we have nothing to worry about. At Comic-Con, Loren Bouchard assured us that yes, there will be plenty of holiday episodes. He even gave a brief description of some of them. For now, it looks like we’ll be getting all of the major holidays including Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. As for the other holidays, it remains to be seen if they’ll be featured in season 10, too.
4. What is the season premiere going to be about?
Unlike other shows with continuity, there is none on Bob’s Burgers so starting off-season 10 is like a brand new slate. If you don’t want to be spoiled for the basic premise, be sure to skip ahead until the end. Thankfully, Fox has released a small plot synopsis and an episode title so here’s what you can expect from “The Ring (But Not Scary)”:
"“Bob’s plan to surprise Linda for their anniversary gets tricky when the kids become involved.”"
Already, that sounds like an intriguing way to start off the season. With their anniversary being Sept. 3, at least we know where the show’s starting. It’s sort of a throwback to season 1 as the pilot episode featured their anniversary, too. It’s all coming full circle on Bob’s Burgers which is always great to see.
Season 10 of Bob’s Burgers premieres Sunday, Sept. 29 on Fox at 9/8c.
