We’ve all heard of the Bermuda Triangle. Some have even sailed or flown through it and lived to tell the tale. This is what makes the area so mysterious. Why is it that some planes and ships have vanished without a trace but others have been fine? It’s not surprising that the triangular section of the North Atlantic Ocean has become a thing of legend and spooky stories.

While there are plenty of stories and legends behind the Bermuda Triangle, there’s also science that could help to explain everything, according to Britannica. This is something Jennifer Marshall will look into in Mysteries Decoded Episode 5, with the help of U.S. Navy veteran Jordan Hunter.
Like in all previous episodes, they won’t likely come to any conclusions. However, they will come to their own conclusions about what they believe has happened to the 50 ships (although Hunter says more than 300) and 20 airplanes that have said to have had something happen to them in this section of the world. Some ships were left completely abandoned and planes have said to go missing without even putting out a distress signal.
