The Winchesters and Bobby head to Wharton State Forest, squatting in an abandoned house to figure out what is killing and eating campers. Dean isn’t happy about the living conditions, but Frank’s advice needs to be followed. The Winchesters need to remain off the grid until they have a way to deal with the Leviathans.

Meanwhile, Sam focuses on the conflicting reports of the creature known as the Jersey Devil. They all head off to talk to Park Ranger Chief Rick Evans, who wants them to meet him at the Biggerson’s Restaurants. While reports say that it was a bear, the chief knows that it wasn’t. He also notes that his partner is missing, but isn’t concerned as he tucks into the Turducken sandwich.

Bobby is stumped. The wounds on the camper don’t match any of the known monsters in woods. They need to do some further investigation, while Dean enjoys one of the Turducken sandwiches from the restaurant.

While in the woods, the Winchesters and Bobby find the mangled body of the chief’s partner. The chief is then taken. Bobby suggests that they all close their eyes and stop moving so they can hear the creature better. Sure enough, Bobby is able to get a shot off and hit the monster.

That monster is a thin man with a blue tint to his skin. He seems dead, but when the Winchesters and Bobby get him back to the abandoned house, the blue man comes back to life. With enough bullets, the man dies and Dean finds out that this guy used to be a 235lb man.

Figuring out the monster

Bobby and Sam perform an autopsy, finding that the man’s insides are covered in a blue-gray goo. While the two are disgusted, Dean doesn’t really care and is more interested in ordering another Turducken sandwich.

Bobby and Sam managed to research the man and find out that he was eating Turducken sandwiches before his death. Sam takes Dean’s sandwich to take a closer look at it.

Dean continues to no care about anything, which makes Sam think Dean is stoned. However, it’s soon clear, as blue-gray goo erupts from the sandwich, that there’s something going on at the Biggerson’s Restaurant.

A Leviathan problem

During surveillance, the team finds out that the Leviathans are behind the situation. Dick Roman shows up to deal with the failed elements of the experiment, those who have become too aggressive and are attracting the wrong attention.

It’s clear to the Winchesters and Bobby that the Leviathans have big plans by assuming the identities of powerful men like Dick.

Bobby gets the chance to perform closer surveillance on the Leviathans, watching as Dick shuts down the Turducken program and forces the doctor Leviathan to “bib” himself. In other words, the Leviathan has to eat himself, starting with his right hand. Just as Bobby is about to tell the brothers everything, he’s knocked out and taken to Dick.

Naturally, the Winchesters go to save Bobby. Dick decides to investigate the things that are happening, giving Bobby a chance to go through Dick’s papers.

Everyone is finally able to get out of the warehouse and back to Sam and Dean’s van. Dick fires off his pistol towards them, but it looks like they all get into the van unscathed. That is until Sam sees Bobby’s hat with a bullet hole. When Sam looks back, things aren’t good.
