5 best lines from Supernatural Season 7, Episode 15

Hallucifer showed up again in Supernatural Season 7, Episode 15, and this time he wouldn’t leave. Here are my five favorite lines from Repo Man.

After a few episodes of Hallucifer not really causing a problem, he was back with a vengeance in Supernatural Season 7, Episode 15. Meanwhile, the Winchesters dealt with a case of a demon they exorcised four years earlier. In my rewatch of the older episodes, it’s time to delve into my five favorite lines from “Repo Man.”

Thought you guys might show up. It’s the drummer boys – agents, uh, Bonham and Watts, right?

The Winchesters are immediately recognized when they’re back in town. What I love is that the sheriff knows who the aliases are. It’s all in the line “the drummer boys.” During this episode, Sam and Dean use the aliases of the drummers of two bands.

I wondered at first whether it was going to be a hint that he knew who they really were or that he was going to turn out to be the demon. However, it was just a show of his own love for 70s rock.

A demon summoning. Why?

Oh, Sammy. Sometimes he can do and say the dumbest things. As he goes through the spell that Nora gave him, he realizes that it’s a demon summoning spell. And then he wonders why it would be needed.

It’s Hallucifer that points out just how dumb Sam sounded in the moment.

Leave your name, number, and nightmare after the tone.

At one point, this was a voicemail message that I had for those calling. It’s the sort of message that makes people giggle if they know you. And that’s just in a normal world.

This is clearly a number Dean uses for those who know a little more about the hunting world. The “nightmare” is real and he wants to help.

He said “shut up” to me.

Isn’t this one of the most memorable lines in Supernatural ever? After going through the spell, Hallucifer continues to taunt Sam. All Dean’s phones are going to voicemail and that can’t be a good sign.

Sam had spent the whole episode just ignoring his hallucination. This was the moment things changed and Hallucifer became a constant presence.

Come on Sam, say it with me now… goooood morning Vietnam!

And it was this moment we found out what was going to happen next. Sam had let Hallucifer in. All Sam had to do was keep ignoring the hallucination, and everything would be fine.

However, Hallucifer has a great way to add a pop culture reference and continue his dark humor through this one line. He captured Robin Williams’ line perfectly. After everything with the late, great actor, this line stands out all the more.
