SEAL Team: What’s next for Davis after THAT turn of events?
Davis found herself in a less-than-ideal position in SEAL Team Season 3, Episode 9. What’s in store for her next after her mistake at the bar?
There are spoilers in this post from SEAL Team Season 3, Episode 9.
I’m going to start this by saying I don’t blame Davis for her actions in the bar at the end of SEAL Team Season 3, Episode 9. I would have done the exact same, and the cop was idiotic for getting behind her like that. Of course, he was going to get an elbow to the face. But being on her side doesn’t help her current situation.

She’s locked behind bars right now. Who she calls for help is up for debate, but it’s not the only debate. There’s a discussion of what’s going to happen to her next now that she’s dealing with legal trouble. She’ll end up facing career trouble.
Davis has only just gained a commission. Any soldier would face disciplinary action for their actions in the bar. As a female officer, she will be held to a higher standard. She even pointed out in the episode to Clay that Blackburn may get to drink with the guys, but that’s not something she gets to do anymore. Different standards, and it is because she’s female.
I’m not getting into the male/female officer difference debate. There’s no point. This focus is what’s going to happen to Davis next.

There is the possibility that Davis could be court marshaled. This could lead to her losing her officer rank. I’ll be honest and say that I don’t know the way the U.S. system works, but I remember when connected to the UK military that officers could be stripped of their commission and be dishonorably discharged.
Is this something that Davis could face? The title of the SEAL Team fall finale doesn’t bode well. It’s “Unbecoming an Officer,” suggesting that we’ll see Davis lose her rank for her mistake.
And yet, someone needs to point out what the two men were doing. They had got physical with her and she had every right to protect herself. The big mistake came with hitting the cop, but knowing there was a second guy, it’s understandable that she lashed out. Hopefully, this is something that helps her.
