The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle Light Show

And if you want to take your love for the series during the holiday season to the next level, Universal Studios theme parks in Hollywood and Orlando have decked the halls in Hogsmeade village. In addition to the fan-favorite hot butterbeer, seasonal decor (can you say Hogwarts house Christmas tree ornaments?!), and comfort food at The Three Broomsticks, guests can also attend a concert of holiday tunes sung by the students in The Hogwarts Frog Choir and more.

The main feature of “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” though, is the Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle light show, which has returned with its gorgeous projection storytelling synchronized with a musical score that makes the entire experience truly enchanting. We have several tips and tricks for how to view the light show once the sun sets on the castle, and be sure to check with official schedules released by the theme park for showtimes and recommended viewing.

“Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” with the Christmas light show will take place daily until Dec. 29. We recommend you stop by Hogsmeade during the daytime to get the best photos of all the new holiday decorations and then to return again at night to see the shops lit up, watch the show and experience the extra magic of snowfall.
