2020 is set to be a huge year for Bob’s Burgers with Season 10 airing and the movie on the way. With all the excitement, these are 3 hopes for this year.

With a new year comes the promises of new and exciting things. For most of us, it’s about making life changes and finding ways to better ourselves. For our favorite TV shows, things are a little bit different. That’s probably why we’re the ones making New Year’s resolutions and not them. Either way, there are few New Years’ resolutions that can be made for Bob’s Burgers in 2020.

While it’s unclear how much control they have to make this stuff happen, these are more like hopes rather than resolutions. Considering that Bob’s Burgers had an excellent 2019, 2020 is poised to be an even bigger year for them. With the start of a new decade and the show continuing its tenth season, there’s a lot to look forward to. In honor of that, let’s talk about three hopes that I have for Bob’s Burgers in 2020.

The first hope is, of course, related to the movie. After a bit of confusion last year, Bob’s Burgers: The Movie is still happening. After it was removed from the release calendar, everyone assumed that the movie was shelved. Loren Bouchard was quick to address it along with a new calendar with the film on it. As for how this relates to my hope, I hope that Bob’s Burgers: The Movie is incredibly successful and that it’s able to step out of the shadows of Fox’s other shows.

Bob’s Burgers is nothing like Family Guy or The Simpsons so it’s annoying to see the show being constantly compared to them. With the movie release, the show should be able to get more respect from those who always compare them. No doubt that the movie was going to make my list. It’s going to be a little bit of the Belchers in summer and that’s going to be amazing.

Another hope for Bob’s Burgers is that there’s a bigger push for merchandise. While there is some decent merchandise out there, Bob’s Burgers still doesn’t have another line of Funko! Pops and that’s annoying. Considering how popular their specialty pops are, there is no reason why Funko shouldn’t release another line of them. Along with Funko Pops, the show deserves to be expanded into other areas including clothing, kitchenware and home decor. As fans of Bob’s Burgers, most of us would be proud to display some of Bob’s Burgers’ home decor.

The last hope for Bob’s Burgers in 2020 is that they release another album. Considering how big of a role music plays in the show, this should be a no-brainer. The last album was released in 2017 and in three years, the show has included a ton more songs. They would be able to feature songs from Seasons 7-10 and possibly the movie. Considering how much we love the music on the show, this would be a nice way to ring in 2020.

Heading into 2020, there is no way that Bob’s Burgers won’t have a good year. Season 10 has been good so far. The movie is releasing around the middle of the year and the show is finally getting a decent amount of coverage. Hopefully, all three of my hopes for Bob’s Burgers are granted and 2020 is an incredible year for the show.
