Bob’s Burgers: 5 memorable Louise and Gene moments
3. “The Horse Rider-er”
Season 6, Episode 17
What happened?: This next episode doesn’t actually feature Gene and Louise in the main plotline. Rather, their plotline is secondary as it follows Tina attending horse camp and the struggles that come with that. Hoping that Louise and Gene don’t feel left out, Linda decides to create a “restaurant camp” for them to have fun at and surprisingly, it ends up being a pretty decent companion to Tina’s plotline.

Why it’s one of Gene and Louise’s best: Most people don’t associate Gene and Louise with this episode and rightfully so. The two of them are paired together with Linda, making for an even more underrated trio.
While Linda can be a bit pushy, they humor her and even, end up having a little bit of fun in the end. What makes this episode one of Louise and Gene’s best is how far they’re willing to go to make sure that Linda’s happy.
After she overhears that they were just using her to get out of work, they realize how much the camp meant to me and decided to make it up to her. It all culminates in them performing a song and it’s incredibly sweet. Considering how popular Tina is on Bob’s Burgers, there’s no surprise that Louise and Gene’s moments don’t get recognized as much in this episode.
