After changing time and bringing Fen and Josh back, The Magicians can now focus on dealing with the Dark King. Meanwhile, Alice can continue to find a way to bring Q back. Here’s how to watch it all in The Magicians Season 5, Episode 3.
As a quick recap, Alice attempted to bring Q back with dark magic. This wasn’t just to get her man back, but because she needed him to translate a document she found in his stuff. The problem is she gets the golem magic wrong and brings back 12-year-old Q back instead. The child can’t translate the document and it all seems like things are for nothing. Except, this child does have some beautiful words of wisdom.

Meanwhile, Eliot manages to find a way to bring Josh and Fen back. He wants to bring Q back, but that isn’t on the cards just yet. However, there’s hope for the future.
And it’s in Episode 3 that we have some hope. Alice and Eliot are both on a mission to get Q back. They need him for various reasons, and basically, just really want him alive anyway. We all do. So they’re heading off on a hike that will lead to the two growing a closer bond. One thing I love about The Magicians is that each season has given us an unlikely pairing on a quest, and Eliot and Alice is this season’s perfect unlikely pairing.
Meanwhile, Margo wants to take down the Dark King. Fen and Josh want to help. But that’s not going to be easy. And for some reason, Margo and Fen will need to duel.
