3. “Sexy Dance Fighting”

In the last slide, we threw it back to Season 2 but this time, we’re heading back even further to Season 1. It’s no surprise that Season 1 doesn’t get as much love. At that point, Bob’s Burgers was still trying to find its place and it showed. If there is one episode that has the same charm as the later seasons, it has to be “Sexy Dance Fighting.” Airing as the fourth episode of Season 1, this one is completely wacky but still has a lot of heart.

More from FOX

“Sexy Dance Fighting” follows Tina who upon being introduced to capoeira, immediately falls in love with it. Most notably, she develops a crush on the instructor, Jairo. Capoeira quickly takes over her life, resulting in her neglecting a lot of her other responsibilities.

Most notably, she doesn’t show up for her shift at the restaurant, causing a rift between her and Bob. Things only escalate from there until it comes to a head at the very end. I won’t give too much away, but the episode is definitely a memorable one.

At its core, “Sexy Dance Fighting” is an episode about Bob and Tina’s relationship but told through a unique lens. Since this list is about sports though, it’s nice to see that the show focused on a lesser-known sport such as capoeira. Considering that it’s a form of martial arts, it’s not something that someone would expect from the series. Either way, it does a great job of showing off the sport and how wrapped up you can get when you’re “passionate” about a sport.
