Bob’s Burgers: 5 life lessons from Tina including A Fish Called Tina
Lesson #3: Revenge isn’t always sweet
When it comes to revenge, Tina isn’t really the Belcher to look at. Rather, Louise is your girl for that. Regardless, Tina doesn’t mind getting a little bit of revenge when necessary. I guess you could say that about all of us, though. Skipping ahead another season, the episode being featured is the Season 4 episode, “Presto Tina-o.” While it has multiple lessons, there is one that stands above the rest.

After finding out that Jimmy Jr needs an assistant for his magic show, Tina decides to volunteer her services. Things are going great until Tina realizes that Jimmy Jr’s show is more about dancing than magic. Eventually, Jimmy Jr has enough of her commentary and decides to cut her out of his act, replacing her with Tina. Determined to get revenge, Tina switches his music to something that’s “undanceable” before feeling guilty and coming to his rescue. This episode is majorly out of character for Tina but she brings it home in the end.
In the end, Tina realized that revenge isn’t worth seeing the one you like embarrassed. It might seem good in hindsight but once reality sets in, it’s no good. Thankfully for Tina, she was able to fix things and even won an award in the process. This might not be the first episode that comes to mind when thinking of life lessons. However, it does have a good point so it was an easy addition to the list.
