3. “There’s No Business Like Mr. Business Business”

Once again, we’re skipping ahead a few seasons. This time, we’re looking at an episode from Season 7. As with the previous slide, there are other Gayle episodes between Seasons 5 and 7 including “Gayle Makin’ Bob Sled” and “The Cook, the Steve, the Gayle, & Her Lover.” The episode that’s the best of the bunch is easy: “There’s No Business Like Mr. Business Business.”

More from FOX

If I could describe this episode as anything, it would be the quintessential Gayle episode. It follows Gayle who wants to make her cat Mr. Business famous. She drags Linda into it who decides not to tell Bob. Upon finding out Bob is furious until he realizes that Mr. Business could end up making money to pay him back and help Gayle.

Things are going great until the day of the audition until Gayle freaks out before Bob and Linda find her, comfort her and let her know that Mr. Buisness doesn’t have to audition. Considering how much Gayle loves cats and how outlandish this episode is, it’s no wonder why it made the list.

Overall, the episode is a perfect depiction of Gayle’s mental health state. It’s clear that she’s unstable but we get a much deeper look into that. Even though Gayle can be annoying at times, “There’s No Business Like Mr. Business Business” shows a different side of her. Even if you don’t like Gayle, you have to appreciate how the episode handles her. Despite its airing during Season 7, it still remains one of, if not the best Gayle episodes yet.
