10. SEAL Team

I’m being a little unfair at putting SEAL Team on the list. It’s actually sitting at the bottom middle of the full list of CBS shows. This should suggest that it will get another season, but there is a higher cost involved than many there shows. SEAL Team is a globe-trotting series.

Focused on the elite SEALs from Bravo Team, we get a look at the day-to-day lives both during and in between missions. We see the danger the SEALs are put in and the problem their jobs can have on their lives around them. It’s certainly a heartfelt series with some heartbreaking moments, but that’s not necessarily enough.

I personally would love to see SEAL Team Season 4. I do hope that it’s one of the bubble TV shows that gets through without a problem.

9. Stumptown

ABC hasn’t had much luck with freshman shows this year, similar to the previous season. One of the bubble TV shows is the Cobie Smulders drama, Stumptown. Based on the graphic novels of the same name, it focuses on an Army vet with a complicated love life but sharp skills. She decides to use the skills to help catch criminals by becoming a PI.

Of course, it’s never that simple. She has everyone against her, especially with her mental health due to her time in the Army. While the series looks like another TV crime drama, there’s a lot of heart, especially with Dex’s disabled brother.

One of the benefits of Stumptown is that while it struggles in its Wednesday night timeslot, it performs well in the DVR ratings. This was something we considered could save it in the first place. Now it definitely looks possible with the postponed pilots.
