The Emmy-winning Netflix drama Ozark returns for Season 3. All episodes of the Jason Bateman series’ new season are now available to stream!

Have you been looking for the next addictive drama series to fill a spot on your watch list? After almost two years, Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning drama series Ozark finally returns with its highly anticipated third season. Ozark last dropped Season 2 in August 2018 and has since left fans eagerly waiting for the next chapter in the Byrde family’s adventures in money laundering.

Thankfully, Ozark Season 3 is now available to stream on Netflix and will answer all of the lingering questions viewers have been tossing around their heads for the better part of two years. Since premiering in 2017, the series has become one of the top rated and most-watched original series on the platform, bringing Netflix more bragging rights and Emmy gold.

More from Netflix

Ozark stars Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, a financial advisor who finds himself caught in the mix of a Mexican drug cartel when his partner’s money laundering goes awry. Marty relocates his wife Wendy (Laura Linney) and two children from Chicago to a resort community in the Ozarks in order to make amends with the cartel and laundering an insane sum of money. Once there, the Byrdes run into more problems.

When we last left Ozark in Season 2, everything came to a head and hard decisions had to be made that would ultimately impact the future. Season 3 picks up six months later and finds the casino up and running while Marty and Wendy continue to fight for the power to control their family’s fate. However, furthered alliances and hopes for expansion test their limits as Wendy’s brother arrives in town and upends everyone’s lives.

Beyond Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, Ozark also stars Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Jordana Spiro, and others throughout the series. The upcoming season features new series regulars Janet McTeer, Tom Pelphrey, and Jessica Francis Dukes, as well as new recurring characters.

Last season, Garner won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, while Bateman won an Emmy for directing and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his leading role.

Critics have said Ozark stabilizes its narrative in the new season and shines a brighter light on Linney’s excellent performance.

Clearly, we’re in for a wild ride with Ozark in Season 3, which seems to have smoothed its rough edges and streamlined its tension into a high-octane season you won’t want to miss.
