Discovery bringing Shark Week in a Weekend to deal with quarantine
Stuck inside this weekend? Discovery has you covered this weekend. Shark Week in a Weekend is coming to help deal with quarantine.
We’re used to Shark Week taking place in July. It’s one of the biggest events on Discovery throughout the year, and something we all look forward to. Well, Discovery is doing us a solid by bringing us Shark Week in a Weekend to cope with quarantine.
Everything kicks off on Apr. 4 at 9 a.m. ET/PT. There will be a different shark-focused program throughout the whole weekend, bringing us some of the best from years past. And if you missed the movie Capsized: Blood in the Water, this is another chance to catch it.

Bob the Shark will also feature, although he’s at home self-isolating like the rest of us. It’s not quite the deep-dive that we’re used to, but it’s something to keep us entertained in an educational way.
This is a chance to check out sharks of the past and those around the world. We’ll go into the land of the most dangerous but amazing creatures in the water, learning more about those that are believed to be extinct, but may not be after all, and understanding more about protecting the wild creatures.
Some of the highlights of the weekend include Shark of the Badlands, Extinct or Alive: The Lost Shark, and Expedition Unknown: Megalodon.
Even if you watched the episodes during Shark Week 2019, there’s no doubt that you’ve forgotten some of the details. This is also a chance to catch the episodes that you missed for whatever reason.
