Another Grey’s Anatomy season finale has arrived. This one came sooner than expected, but luckily the crew had a finale-worthy episode in the can to serve as the conclusion. The last we saw of the Grey Sloan docs, Meredith turned to DeLuca to see if he could assist in finding a diagnosis for Richard Webber.
Bailey, Jackson, Maggie, and others have also worked around the clock to get down to the bottom of this medical mystery, even with Catherine breathing down their necks. Elsewhere, Amelia had a false labor scare, but we may be meeting her baby very soon. Here’s what we know so far about “Put on a Happy Face.”

Does Richard have Alzheimer’s?
Richard’s symptoms seem to suggest that he may have Alzheimer’s, the terrible disease that also killed Adele and Ellis Grey. The season finale’s promo shows Meredith once again denying that it’s Alzheimer’s, and I have to trust Dr. Grey on this one.
While I don’t have the slightest clue what it could be, we do know that Bailey will operate on Richard, which suggests this is a general surgery. We also know Andrew DeLuca will come storming in to the OR before Bailey gets too far. Did he discover something new? Or is his judgement clouded? He could be everyone’s hero at the end of the day.
Will Amelia give birth?
After Episode 20‘s false labor fiasco, it looks like the real deal is happening this time. Luckily, Amelia will be at the hospital whenever her water breaks. Carina and Link will also be by her side for the big moment. I know this is Grey’s Anatomy, but let’s just cross our fingers for a complication-free delivery. Also, any predictions for the baby’s name? Could it be Derek?
Who will Teddy choose?
Teddy Altman has a choice to make. Should she follow through with marrying Owen? Or should she take a chance with Koracick? While I’m not a huge fan of either, I can’t help but to believe Owen and Teddy are meant to be after everything they’ve been through in and out of the hospital.
However, Teddy may not have a choice if she gets busted. The official synopsis states that Owen will discover “something,” and I have to believe it has to do with Teddy and Tom’s secret fling. Either way, just let this love triangle end.
