The Masked Singer Season 3: Who was unveiled in Episode 14?

The Masked Singer Season 3, Episode 14 saw six whittled down to five. Who left and who was underneath the mask. Here’s everything that happened.

We’re now officially down to five celebrities on The Masked Singer Season 3. Episode 14 saw one more contestant head home, and that meant one more reveal. Who was under the mask?

The episode saw Kitty, Rhino, Frog, Night Angel, Astronaut, and Turtle took to the stage in that order. They all gave beautiful performances, but only five would be able to make it through. We’re certainly at the point where it’s extremely hard to say goodbye.

With Gordon Ramsay as the guest panelist, the special clue after each performance was linked to food. It was this that gave it away for Nicole when it came to the celebrity that would go home.

The Masked Singer Season 3, Episode 14 said goodbye to Astronaut after a wonderful rendition of One Direction’s “Story of My Life.” While Ramsay guessed Home Improvement‘s Jonathan Taylor Thomas (quickly seconded by Robin Thicke), Nicole made a surprise change to her previous guesses.

The King Cake was a clue for her. This is a dish from Louisiana and Nicole finally figured out the big birthday party that was mentioned a while back was America’s birthday, a Fourth of July concert. Sure enough, Nicole and Astronaut had performed together.

So, who was Astronaut? If you guessed Hunter Hayes, you deserve a pat on the back. I know a lot of people have been guessing Hunter for a while, but I only just heard it tonight! Yeah, I’m late to the game.

Hunter did say that he’d been trying a few different things with his songs. It certainly explains why I’ve thought every week was someone different under the mask.
