When will Charmed Season 3 premiere on The CW?
Charmed Season 2 comes to an abrupt end tonight. There will be a few questions left unanswered. How long will we have to wait for answers in Season 3?
If you’re like me, you may have overlooked the fact that there’s a new episode of Charmed Season 2 tonight. For some reason, I got it into my head that Episode 18 was the finale. Don’t know why! But Episode 19 will air tonight and this is definitely the Season 2 finale.
It’s an abrupt finale—and maybe it’s the fact that Nancy Drew ended with Episode 18, which made me think Charmed would too—and will certainly leave us with plenty of questions. Storylines haven’t had the time to be wrapped since there were three other episodes planned in the season. So, by the end of the episode, there will be one question on your mind.

When will Charmed Season 3 premiere?
You’ll certainly want your answers. The problem is, we don’t know when the premiere will be.
With the current pandemic, filming around the world is on hold. Charmed films in Vancouver, and British Columbia remains on lockdown. However, some provinces are starting to lift the restrictions, so there is a chance that filming in the area could resume soon. If it resumes by July, there’s a chance that the third season will premiere around the usual time, the end of October.
If filming can’t take place in July, the premiere date is going to be pushed back. We could be looking at a January start for some shows.

The CW hasn’t released its fall schedule yet, mostly because it has no idea what the TV landscape will look like. The schedule isn’t usually released until the middle of May, though. There’s still some time before we need to worry about that.
Charmed Season 2’s three episodes that were still to film will be used in the third season. The plan from the writers right now is to just use the episodes as the first three. This would make the most sense. They’re already written and will follow on from the finale logically. A time jump could then be used to catch everyone up to where they would be at the intentional start of Season 3.
Unfortunately, we had to shut down in the middle of Ep 220. We are on track to air through 219 🙏. Although the S2 story will not exactly be over, many questions will be answered! The remaining episodes will air at the beginning of S3 (is the plan!) #charmed

We’ll have to wait and see. Right now, there is s a little hope filming could start in July but it’s not guaranteed at all. I’ll be honest and say my gut tells me October isn’t a start date this year.
