Bob’s Burgers: Ranking the season finales including Season 10
Grade D: “Into The Mild” and “Torpedo”
Starting off the list are two finale episodes that don’t even feel like finales. Rather, they feel like two run-of-the-mill episodes and were forced to be finales. That might sound a little bit harsh, but these episodes are at the bottom of the list for a reason.
The two episodes at the bottom of the list are Season 7’s “Into the Mild” and Season 1’s “Torpedo.” Before getting into the bad, let’s talk about the good.

“Into The Mild” follows Bob who goes to a warehouse sale at a wilderness survival store and is accidentally locked inside with an employee. He’s desperate to get out so he does whatever he can and eventually, is able to get out.
As for Linda and the kids, Gayle comes over to share her one-woman show, resulting in an argument with Linda. Overall, the episode is pretty lackluster and was a “bonus” episode but it shouldn’t have been as “Paraders of the Lost Float” would have been an awesome finale.
Season 1 of Bob’s Burgers feels very disjointed and having “Torpedo” as the finale just reinforces the idea. The episode features Bob and the family meeting Bob’s role model, Torpedo who was a pitcher in the MLB and has moved back to play for the local team.
Eventually, Bob finds out Torpedo is using him to cheat and the cheating bug hits the family as Gene cheats at his mascot race. Overall, the episode isn’t very funny, nor does it fit with the tone of the series.
Even though these episodes are at the bottom of my list, there are still some enjoyable moments in each. As far as season finales go though, they’re nothing special. They’d be better as part of the regular series order instead of an ending. Thankfully, we can only go up from here.
