After learning that the staff has chosen her, Courtney is sure that her dad is Starman. The photo in her locket certainly looks like the man in the Justice Society of America photo. Of course, everyone denies that she is Starman’s daughter—their secret identity names don’t match. Has anyone considered that Starman may have had different secret identities?

Anyway, it’s looking like that’s not a concern for Courtney, right now. Episode 2 will see her find her own version of a superhero costume, and it suits her personality perfectly. As Courtney suits up, so does a villain.
One of the members of the Injustice Society will show up during the episode. It means Pat will need to reveal a few more secrets about the past to keep her safe. He won’t want the same thing happening to Courtney as happened to the Justice Society—and that’s not just because Courtney is Pat’s stepdaughter.
Barbara is happy to see her daughter getting along with Pat. If only she knew why they were becoming the best of friends. She might have something to say about that.
