Here are five questions we have for Sweet Magnolias Season 2

By the season finale of Sweet Magnolias Season 1, there were many questions presented, and many still to be answered in Sweet Magnolias Season 2.

Sweet Magnolias Season 2 seems likely considering the series was recently featured on Netflix’s top 10 most popular movies and TV shows and because Sweet Magnolias is based on a series of books of the same name. Since the show has drawn in viewers and has more than enough storylines to round out a few seasons, renewal for at least a second season seems imminent.

Assuming there are more episodes ahead, here are four questions we have going into Sweet Magnolias Season 2.

4. Was Annie the second passenger?

In the final moments of Season 1, we watched Kyle run from Jackson’s house after blowing up at Tyler. Ultimately, Tyler and Annie ran after him. Once we cut to the scene of the accident and saw Kyle, being pulled from Tyler’s car, it was revealed that there was a second passenger.

With Tyler and Annie nowhere to be found, Dana Sue called Annie’s phone, and we cut back to Jackson’s house, where Annie’s phone was laying on the coffee table. Is this a hint that Annie is the second passenger?

If so, where is Tyler? If it is Annie, what will this mean for her storyline in Sweet Magnolias Season 2, and is this an attempt by the show’s writers to bring Annie and her mom closer?
