Broadcast TV may not have much in the form of new scripted shows right now, but that’s not the case with streaming services. Netflix has delivered great series after great series, and the latest one to watch is Cursed.
Starring 13 Reasons Why’s Katherine Langford, Cursed brings you the King Arthur legend in a way that you possibly haven’t seen before. It takes it back to the Lady of Lake, before she was known as that. It’s all about Nimue.

What’s Cursed about?
The series is based on the illustrated novel of the same name. In a world where those with magic are persecuted, Nimue finds herself in possession of a powerful sword. That sword is Excalibur, and she needs to make sure it gets to safety before it lands in the wrong hands.
At the same time, she meets a young Arthur. Together, they need to find Merlin to deliver the powerful sword to him. Along the way, she’ll become a symbol of courage and hope for her people, who she promises to protect.
Despite being in a fantasy world set in the Dark Ages, this is a show that will resonate with many. It’s a coming-of-age tale mixed with one of destiny and loyalty. It’s certainly worth the watch for those who love The Witcher, Game of Thrones, and other similar shows.
The series also stars Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgård, Peter Mullan, Lily Newmark, Shalon Brune-Franklin, Daniel Sharman, and Sebastian Armesto. Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler have both created the series, who also created the illustrated novel.
