All eight episodes of Last Chance U Season 5 are now streaming on Netflix
Due to the current health situation, nothing is guaranteed including football. College and professional football may have to adjust their schedules in order to deal with the challenges of the pandemic. However, there is one guarantee that will satisfy all football fans and that’s Last Chance U Season 5, which is now streaming on Netflix.
Last Chance U gives viewers an inside look into the competitive world of junior college football. Many of these players compete at the junior college level because they’re trying to earn an opportunity to play football at the Division I level. Last Chance U is a play on words as this could be the last chance that many of these players have to continue their football careers.

Last Chance U Season 5 will chronicle Laney College in Oakland, California. Laney College is led by coach John Beam, a Hall of Famer with over 40 years of coaching experience. This marks the third program in the series. The first two seasons followed East Mississippi Community College while the third and fourth season documented Independence Community College in Kanas.
Is this the last season of Last Chance U?
The fifth season will be bittersweet because it will be the final time the series follows a football program. However, the show has not been canceled. It will shift from football to basketball in the spinoff series, Last Chance U: Basketball, which will air on Netflix sometime in 2021.
