Check out The Bachelorette Season 16 premiere on ABC tonight

The Bachelorette Season 16 was originally going to premiere back in May 2020. However, the pandemic happened, and fans have had to wait to see the season play out. It all starts tonight, with the first fall season of The Bachelorette ever.

Clare Crawley is our leading lady for this season. At least, she will be for the start of it. Surely, you’ve all heard the rumors that Clare finds love early on and decides she doesn’t want to string the other men along. So, the show let her step aside and brought in a second leading lady instead. That leading lady is reported to be Tayshia Adams.

It’s worth noting ABC and Bachelorette host Chris Harrison haven’t confirmed the change in leading lady. That’s not surprising, though. This is a season where everything was done in a quarantine bubble. It was impossible to get spoilers, and that means ABC wants as many surprises as possible.

What we do know is that Harrison isn’t hosting all the episodes. He had to leave the bubble and go back into quarantine, so Jojo Fletcher will be a temporary host for part of the season.

What to expect on The Bachelorette Season 16 premiere

But that’s all about the middle of the season. What about tonight? The Bachelorette Season 16 will premiere in a semi-traditional sense. Clare will meet the men who are vying for her heart.

It certainly wasn’t an easy season to film. It was one of the first big shows to return after the pandemic restrictions started to loosen. The bar was high, but the production kept meeting expectations.

We’ll get a chance to see some of the changes and requirements on camera, I’m sure. The Hometown Dates will be different. But there will still be plenty of drama.
