Dean trying to kill Death

Jack wasn’t willing to go with Death. Not after everything that has happened. However, Death wasn’t going to give Jack a choice.

More from Supernatural

That’s when Dean steps in. He grabs Death’s scythe and swings. Death knew what was going to happen and ducked out of the way, although Dean did catch her arm.

Death retreats, but the battle is definitely not over. The Winchesters need to regroup, but everyone who could help is ignoring them or unwilling to help.

People start getting taken

Charlie is the first of the returning characters of the night. We get to see her with her new life, which includes a girlfriend who makes the perfect eggs. However, it isn’t a happy morning.

Charlie’s girlfriend is taken from before her very eyes. She can only call the Winchesters, which is when Charlie learns what Death is doing.

Charlie’s girlfriend isn’t the only one who is taken. Bobby calls to say that someone from the Apocalypse World he was on a hunt with was taken.

Death is taking people who don’t belong in the Prime world one by one, Apocalypse World, those who are supposed to be dead, everyone. Yes, that includes Eileen.

One thing I will say is that this whole thing for Death should not come as a surprise. Even as a reaper, all Billie wanted was to put the world back to normal. She wanted balance, and now that she’s Death, she has the ability to gain that.
