We can’t believe the day has finally come, the final season of Shameless is here, and we already know it’s going to hit us right in the feels. In Shameless Season 11, we know that we’ll find the dysfunctional Gallagher family at a “crossroads” with the South Side due to changes their experiencing as a result of the pandemic. The show has involved gentrification in Chicago as part of past seasons, but Shameless Season 11 looks to be taking it to a new level.

In Showtime’s latest brief synopsis, we learned that Frank will be “confronting his own mortality and family ties” (something we didn’t think was really possible), but we’re confident Frank will have plenty of scams left up his sleeve in these final episodes. For Lip, this means continuing to learn how to be a good dad while also being the patriarch for the rest of the Gallaghers, something he’s also been faced with before.

We’re going to see Ian and Mickey navigate what it means to be married, watch Debbie try to thrive as a single mom, and for those fans who called that Carl would become a cop back in the first few seasons of the show, you’re correct. Carl is going to have a law enforcement career in Shameless Season 11, and Kev & V were teased to be contemplating the idea of leaving the South Side.

But that’s not all! In addition to the new synopsis from Showtime, we learned some important additional spoilers from the latest Shameless Season 11 trailer too. We know that the Gallagher kids are going to be working together to make sure the South Side keeps its dangerous reputation alive. And now that weed is legalized in Chicago, Kev & V are embracing the business opportunity. And, oh yeah, it looks like the Milkovich family is moving in next door.

And Shameless even blessed our timelines with an extra trailer focused on Gallavich, and yes, the term “Gallavich” is even making it into the episode.
