New General Hospital pool and spa set will bring on the summer heat
The summer is just heating up on General Hospital, but now the cast of characters has a brand new way of cooling off. A new set has recently been built for the ABC soap that will give a summery feel for viewers. The Metro Court will be getting a pool and spa that sits on the hotel’s rooftop just in time for a little summer romance.
TV Insider shared a few photos ahead of the July 15 reveal of the new General Hospital set. The realistic pool is about three feet deep with deck chairs scattered about. The soap’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, revealed his excitement about the new look. “GH is very excited to announce the opening of The Metro Court Pool and Spa — the place to see and be seen this summer for all the heat and drama,” he said.
You know what that means? More bare skin, of course! As seen in the photos, a few of the cast members, including Curtis and Portia, will be shedding their winter clothes for something a little more appropriate for the heat of the summer.
Also, in one of the pics is Cameron and Josslyn relaxing together on the deck chairs. They look awfully cozy together. It’s obvious that this will be the new hot hangout in Port Charles over the next few weeks.

General Hospital’s teen scene will take full advantage of the pool set
Teens Cameron, Josslyn, and Trina have been on screen together quite a bit. Now that Spencer Cassadine is back in town, he is sure to shake things up. Newcomer Nicolas Alexander Chavez has just made his debut this week taking over the role of an older Spencer. Nicolas Bechtel had previously played the younger version since 2013.
Also, this week, Cam and Joss revealed that they have had feelings for each other all this time, but never talked about it. It looks like they will finally be a couple. But what about Spencer? It appears that he may be paired up with Trina as he has been flirting with her since he showed up. These four teens will certainly bring the drama over the summer.
