The weekend has arrived! It’s time to clock out and settle in for a weekend of watching our favorite shows on TV (and on streaming). We’ve put together a list of what’s coming this weekend, so all you need to do is gather your favorite TV snack. Let’s get started!

Movie theaters are open with more and more showtimes available each week! But not only are some of us not ready to go to a movie theater, we also have enjoyed staying home and watching new shows and movies from the comfort of our own couch! If you agree, if you’ve come to the right place.

Thanks to multiple streaming services available today, it’s possible to have an endless amount of content to watch. That said, it can also get frustrating and confusing. But we’re here to help with an easy list to follow.

Here’s what’s coming to the small screen this weekend Aug. 6-8.

New movies and shows on TV this weekend

Friday, Aug. 6

CBS: Love Island at 9 p.m.

CW: Burden of Truth at 8 p.m. and Dynasty at 9 p.m.

TLC: 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? at 8 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 7

There’s never too much on TV on Saturdays, but this is great so you can catch up on any other shows or movies you have missed. You can also check out one of our streaming show recommendations, below.

Sunday, Aug. 8

CBS: Big Brother at 8 p.m., Love Island at 9:01 p.m.,

HBO: The White Lotus at 9 p.m.,100 Foot Wave at 10 p.m.

The White Lotus episode 4 shook many viewers! You won’t want to miss episode 5! After this weekend, there is only one episode left.

Finally, to continue following the Tokyo Olympics coverage, stay tuned at NBC and USA.

New shows and movies on streaming this weekend

Vivo, Hit & Run and more are now streaming on Netflix.

On Apple TV+, a new episode of Ted Lasso season 2 premieres on Friday, Aug. 6, as well as a new episode of Schmigadoon!. There’s also a new series to enjoy, Mr. Cormanthe first two episodes of the Joseph Gordon-Levitt series are now streaming.

Finally, for our streaming suggestions, there are new episodes of FBOY Island now streaming on HBO Max and The Suicide Squad is also now playing.
