If you’re looking for a series based on a true story with stellar acting, then you have to check out Hulu’s Welcome to Chippendales. It’s truly a show that’s worth your time!

The true-crime series gives us a fictional look into the conception and success of Chippendales, the real-life worldwide all-male stripping crew. The group, established in 1979 and started by Indian immigrant Somen “Steve” Banerjee, was the first to have all-male striptease performances.

There’s much more to the tale than dancing though. Steve found massive success, and we’re going to see how he will let nothing – and no one – stand in his way. In 1993, the troupe’s creator was arrested and charged with plotting to kill three of his former business associates. And as the trailer shows, there’s one in particular who gets on Steve’s nerve.

The true-crime series stars Kumail Nanjiani as Banerjee, Murray Bartlett as Nick De Noia, Annaleigh Ashford as Irene, and Juliette Lewis as Denise. The project was created by Robert Siegel and Jenni Konner. So how much time will you need to dedicate to watch the series?
